Two day needle turn applique workshop - Saturday 28th & 29th March 2015 - 10am to 4pm - Held at The Hub, Main Street, Grenfell Library. Discover the joy of needleturn applique with Irene Blanck, an amazing tutor from Melbourne. She will be teaching one of her more elaborate designs “Auntie Greens Garden” over the course of two days. You will learn stitching skills and tips from a professional who has published many patterns with a secret new project about to be unveiled. This workshop is designed to give you the skills to confidently approach and complete any needleturn applique project from fabric selection through to tools and techniques used. This is a workshop designed for experienced needleturn applique stitchers more of Irene’s works can be viewed on her website www.focusonquilts.com.au We will also enjoy a quilt hanging exhibition by stitchers who have previously completed some of Irene’s patterns. Please bring yours along to be displayed for the weekend. Morning tea and lunch included on both days;.
