May Newsletter

May Newsletter

Isn't it funny, I always struggle with the start of my Newsletter, I think "Right it's time to start the Newsletter " and then I sit here staring at the screen with nothing to type.  Considering I have had such a busy month, you would think I would have plenty to say, but here I am still thinking.!!! So I will just start with what's new in the Shop since the last newsletter.
  • Azure Skies by Simple Simon & co for Riley Blake
  • Moda Nova by Basic Grey
  • Moda Origami by Janet Clare
  • Amy Butler Natural Beauty. (this is sadly her last range) you can check out some ideas here
  • Circular Logic  check out the wonderful look book here
  • Moda Day in Paris by Zen Chic
  • Homeward by Natalie Barnes
I always get so excited when we receive new stock.  I have so many things I want to make all at once!  But seriously, I am actually trying to get a few things finished this month. This week we Making Annie's On the Go Bag which is a little shoulder bag for when you are out on the go!  These classes ran yesterday and today so I will have some photo's on my Instagram & Facebook Account for you to check out. This weekend 25 & 26 May, Fabric Sauce will be at the Young Lion's Club Quilt Show at the Young Town Hall, so if you are in the area, please drop in and say hello and check out what we have been up to.  I have lots to display and also heaps of goodies for sale as well.  If you are thinking about something to do this weekend take a trip to Young we have some fantastic cafe's and local shops as well. Fabric Sauce will also be at the Henry Lawson Festival in Grenfell over the long Weekend in June, we had an absolute blast last year and can't wait to do it all again.  So I will be back here in early June with further details about the Quilt Show and Soup Kitchen and what we will be displaying and demonstrating on that weekend. Our Farmers Wife Quilt Along is progressing well, we are all happily stitching along.. I did forget photo's this month so I will get you caught up with some photo's next month.  We are all getting a decent sized quilt for anyone that has started to put it together.  I love to see how different they all look. Hope you have had some time for yourself and your stitching habit. Till Next Time Mandyx
